We at Reconnect Centre are working to make our site www.reconnectcentre.com.au accessible to people with disabilities.

Reconnect Centre is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience for people accessing our website and services. We recognise that accessibility needs vary and aim to identify and reduce barriers wherever reasonably possible.

We aim to make our website accessible and have used website features and practices informed by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). These include:

  • Using clear headings and structured page layouts

  • Providing sufficient colour contrast for readability

  • Adding alternative text to images

  • Minimising the use of motion and visual clutter

  • Enabling compatibility with screen readers and keyboard navigation

Physical Accessibility

Reconnect Centre offers in-person appointments at our South Yarra clinic as well as appointments via secure telehealth. 

Please note that our South Yarra consulting rooms are located on an upper level and are accessible by stairs. There is currently no lift or step-free access to the consulting rooms. We recognise that this may make the location unsuitable or inaccessible for some people. 

If you have mobility or other accessibility requirements, please contact us before your appointment so we can discuss your needs. Where attending the clinic is not suitable, telehealth appointments may be available as an alternative.

We recognise that emotional safety, identity, and individual circumstances can influence a person's experience of care, and aim to support each person with sensitivity, curiosity and respect.

Acknowledgement of Country

Reconnect Centre acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners and ongoing custodians of the land on which our South Yarra practice stands. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise that this land was never ceded and that First Nations peoples’ connection to Country, culture and community continues unbroken today.

As we also provide care via telehealth to clients joining us from across Australia, we extend this acknowledgement and our respect to the many Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters from which our clients connect with us, and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
